Sometimes it's useful to change direction for group of member's in STAAD.Pro model before adding releases or offsets.
While this option is not added, it is possible to perform this action manually:
STEP 1:
Check for configuration. Select single line format for members.
STEP 2:
Directions for members in selected area will be changed manually.
STEP 3:
Select members for reverse.
STEP 4:
Copy selected beams from Geometry/Beam tab.
STEP 5:
Paste copied data into spreadsheet.
STEP 6:
Delete unnecessary columns.
STEP 7:
Transpose Node-A and Node-B columns.
STEP 8:
Copy transposed list.
STEP 9:
Go to the end of MEMBER INCIDENCES list and paste copied cells into editor.
STEP 10:
After saving new list, check for results of manual reverse.
